Celebrating Science Week – Executive Women in STEM Roundtable

Western Sydney Executive Women in STEM held a roundtable breakfast at KPMG Parramatta this week as part of our 12 month mentorship program funded by the Federal Government.

We had the privilege of being joined by Robyn Preston, MP Hawkesbury, Parliamentary Secretary for Science, Innovation and Technology, who shared how pathways are being created for women in STEM in NSW, as well as hearing feedback from our guests on their priorities as women working in STEM industries.

Mentees and mentors, as well as guests, had the opportunity to network over breakfast and discuss their careers, interests, challenges and more.

As this week is National Science Week, this occasion is particularly significant to us as we seek to provide mentoring and networking opportunities for women in STEM. Creating these opportunities doesn’t happen without the support of organisations like KPMG Australia who hosted our breakfast roundtable at their Parramatta office.
