Launching our Careers Connect Program
Yesterday, we launched our 2023 Careers Connect Program at PHIVE Parramatta.

We celebrated the graduation of The Future is Bright Trades Program 2022 at Endeavour Energy. In our Trades program, we have 12 amazing high school girls who participated from different schools.

WSEW Tour Western Sydney Airport
Yesterday mentees from our Ladies Who Lead program and Western Sydney Executive Women in STEM program had the privilege of visiting the Western Sydney Airport Experience Centre. The afternoon started with a tour of the perimeter of the site where we learnt about the work involved to bring together all the different facets of the airport.

Celebrating 12 months of growth, dedication and relationship building for women in STEM. Last week, mentees, mentors and guests celebrated the completion of our Western Sydney Executive Women in STEM program at Multiplex Sydney.
Sydney Water Experience Day for Year 8 & 9 Girls
Year 8 and 9 students from Cumberland High School, as part of our Future is Bright program, attended a Sydney Water experience day as part of the Women NSW Investing in Women initiative.
Exploring aerospace and drones
Graduates of The Future is Bright in Aviation spent a day at the Powerhouse Museum seeing drones in action, asking questions and exploring the Aviation and Aerospace Exhibit, which included an up-close look at the historic Catalina aircraft.
Returning to work in style
Recently our Grow Your Future program (as part of the Women's Development and Leadership initiative by Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet) had their “Returning To Work Styling” session at the amazing new Parramatta PHIVE building.
Aviation Experience Day – The Future is Bright
Earlier this week high school girls from Western Sydney, as part of The Future is Bright in Aviation program, were given the opportunity to fly a 737 flight simulator, plan a cross-country navigation exercise, conduct an extensive tour of SFC's aircraft fleet, and even hear from Nina, a C130J Hercules Captain in the RAAF.

As part of National Science Week, girls from Cumberland High School and Macquarie Fields High School attended the graduation ceremony for The Future is Bright in STEM.
The Future is Bright is a series of programs for high school girls that creates pathways for girls in STEM, Aviation and Trades.

Western Sydney Executive Women in STEM held a roundtable breakfast this week as part of our 12 month mentorship program funded by the Federal Government. As this week is National Science Week, this occasion is particularly significant to us as we seek to provide mentoring and networking opportunities for women in STEM.

New Program – Grow Your Future
Grow Your Future is a career growth mentoring program, designed to encourage women to re-enter the workforce or start their career. This program will help women build confidence and prepare them for future employment opportunities.
Opening doors to success
Higher female participation in the labour force is good for women, good for families and for the economy. We want to connect these vulnerable women to give them the right kind of support and get them well on their way to achieving the job of their dreams.
