WSW Partners with Defence Australia for the Maritime RobotX Challenge

Western Sydney Women were very honoured to partner with Defence Australia for The Maritime RobotX Challenge 2022.

RobotX is an international, university-level competition designed to foster student interest in autonomous robotic systems operating in the maritime domain, with an emphasis on the science and engineering of cooperative autonomy.

This is another huge opportunity for students in Western Sydney to have access to all the exciting pathways that a STEM career can provide.

Working with Western Sydney Women has been a really inspirational experience for myself and my students. It is amazing to have passionate women in the world who provide opportunities for young women to see what's out there and possible and provide mentors for them to aspire to.

Everyone I have worked with has been so friendly and supportive and it has been an absolute delight! I look forward to working with Western Sydney Women in 2023 and the fabulous programs the Cumberland girls will be able to engage in.
